The #ECACHockey men's player of the month led the league in scoring this month, recording 13 points (4G, 9A). He led @CUBigRedHockey to a 6-1-1 mark in January, registering multiple points for five straight games between January 5-19. Congratulations, Morgan Barron!

On this day 49 years ago, a Harvard University hockey fan threw a chicken over the boards at the Cornell Men’s Ice Hockey goalie during a game. Cornell won 5-2 and retaliated a month later by putting a live chicken in Harvard's goal and throwing dead fish at the goalie. Thus, a tradition was born.
