We started the day by meeting with our Grade 9s, learning from them about what we need to do to build school culture, and then playing with them. I am so proud of whay our students and staff are doing together to capture student voice!

Yesterday, I was in the hall when all of a sudden, it was filled with joyful squealing. One of our Grade 7s had just finished tweaking a design, 3D printed it, and put it together. I give you the source of much joy. I squealed, too! He is now a dragon parent!

You haven't really lived until you've had the time of your life with your students singing karaoke, listening to our bands play, and surprising them with a teacher tone chime performance. My heart is pretty full. Enjoy this little ditty from our 8/9 gathering!

Admin, it may be extra work, but check on your staff individually. Group check-ins are good,but the ones really struggling may not want to speak up in a group setting. Teachers, also check on each other, especially if you know someone is having a tough time. Everyone is exhausted
