Prof. Sunil Kumar Singh, Director, CSIR-NIO, Goa initiated the Swachhta Pakwada activities by administering the Swachhta pledge to the scientists, technical, administrative, research scholars, students and temporary staff, followed by cleanliness drive in the institute premises.

Training program on "Seaweed Cultivation and Processing Technology" was held at CSIR-NIO, Dona Paula, Goa from 14 – 17 May 2024. A batch of 24 students from PES College, Ponda-Goa attended the training programme under the existing MoU with CSIR-NIO, Goa.
