Last week, C-SD students explored and discussed how violence affects our schools and community. Students pledged during all lunch shifts to help stop the violence in their community.

Junior Kassidy Young is a 3 sport standout & member of the DCTC Biomedical program. Kassidy has the school record with a throw of 100’ 1”. Junior Jayden Smith is a silent leader . Jay’Den is currently ranked first in the state in 110m Hurdles!

Leader, Motivator, Role-Model, Administrator, or Principal; no matter what you call him, Mr. Jerome Stover is the best of the best! His staff loves him every day of the week, but today, on NATIONAL PRINCIPAL’S DAY, he will be honored.

Today, we celebrate School Lunch Hero Day! This dedicated team & Viking family members also prepare nutritious breakfasts, to-go meals for our athletes, and work diligently to help our students get the nutrition they need. Thank you for all you do!!!

Today was a great day at C-SD, thanks to Ms. Blue-Pitts, our School Social Worker, who organized a fantastic Health Fair for our students! This event was a great kick off event for our upcoming Mental Health Spirit Week, which begins Monday!

And just like that, school resumes tomorrow, after a beautiful Prom on Saturday. Look for our post tomorrow, including lots of photos and thank you's to everyone who helped organize the very successful event! This week is "Mental Health Awareness Week", & MATH MCAP TESTING.

Elementary School walks are happening again, and for SDK-8, it's May 24th at 9:00 a.m.. Maple, Choptank, and Sandy Hill are May 26th, where they will board busses at 8:45 a.m..

A big thank you to Mrs. Erin Beelen for everything she does when working with our students. It’s Speech Pathologist Appreciation Day and our Viking family sure does appreciate her!
