The Legion strongly condemns those who jumped on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and disrespected the National War Memorial on Saturday. The site commemorates those who fought and fell for the very freedoms that allow the right to protest peacefully and respectfully.

I'll say this about John Horgan - one of the nicer people I've covered in BC politics. Wore his heart on his sleeve. You could always hash disagreements out with him. Not all his decisions were right - but nobody's are. Generally, a good guy. He will be missed in BC politics.
