Rollups were originally framed as a scaling patch for Ethereum. But today they’ve become the new architecture for Web3. Rollups look very similar to traditional web applications. They make it easy for any web app to come onchain by simply publishing its data to a base layer.

bring back the “connect wallet” button! why are teams further fragmenting our liquidity by making us fund new wallets to use their apps? it kills any composability benefits & creates more onboarding friction that hurts adoption. what are the benefits of that strategy? it’s

Ellie is one of my favorite people I get to work alongside each day. She's brilliant and kind. If I say anything smart-sounding about how blockchains work, I probably heard it from her first.

Yes yes! Don't bridge coins. Just have secure x-chain message passing. Glad others are waking up to this important realization too! But x-chain messages need to be fast, requiring a universally trusted fast-finality layer for L2s. Andrew's article misses some critical points 🧵

Bridges? Where we're going, we don't need bridges. I admit, it took me a bit to grasp this concept after Ben Fisch ☕️ explained it to me. I'd accepted bridges as a necessary part of interacting across chains. But we don't need bridges if chains can communicate quickly & securely.

not trying to be🌶️- just curious & James Richard Fry (⛺️,🔮) told me to post it! intents are great for UX today, but are they "the future"? does it mean we're ok if crypto's endgame needs money-lending middlemen b/w users & chains? the abstraction is worth it today, but will it be tmrw?

Any interop solution is only as secure as the tx confirmations backing them. That’s why Espresso works with teams like Hyperlane ⏩ Caldera LayerZero Across Stargate rather than compete with them.

packed my son’s lunch today. i will often write short notes or famous quotes, but we share a love of games, including chess, so thought I’d try something different today. I like to picture him finding my notes and getting excited while he’s at school. know the solution?
