Short term vol sky high with Trump's inauguration later today, and memecoin antics over the weekend. Feb onwards very flat. It will be interesting to see if there is anything crypto focused in the initial burst of executive orders (e.g. bitcoin reserve).

This is pretty cool. Amberdata (formerly Genesis Volatility) have made their analytics platform free for everyone. They have several useful charts, like skews over time, IV over time, and their custom gamma exposure, aka GEX (pictured).

This will be nice in combination with the upcoming USDC settled BTC and ETH options. It also makes doing basis trades below this reward rate (currently 4%) completely pointless. (Not that a 4% basis trade was good anyway, and current basis is roughly 7-8%.)

I show an example of using the Greeks.live smart trading feature to automate option orders on Deribit in my latest video: youtube.com/watch?v=Ba_5aW… I've used the maker assistant tool in previous videos, but this is superior, so I will be using this instead going forward.
