After finding a juv Pipistrelle bat emerging from the garage a few days ago, I decided to set up the camera to see what emerged before it got too dark. Bat Conservation Trust @Nature_Spot Leics&RutlandMammalGroup

It is with great sadness that I have to report that @LeicsPeregrines juvenile PBF from Leicester Cathedral was found dead below the glass bridge of the Highcross Centre on Saturday 29th July. It seems that she flew into one of the large glass windows.

It looks like we have lost one of the @LeicsPeregrines chicks Leicester Cathedral I was always worried about the last hatched being trapped beneath its siblings at feeding time. 🙁 Live streaming: leicesterperegrines.org.uk/streaming/

Couldn't believe my eyes when reviewing @LeicsPeregrines video from 9th December Leicester Cathedral Juvenile XRF, still in the area, brings in fresh Little Auk prey! An amazing record for an inland site. The first in L&R since 2007.

The 2nd @LeicsPeregrines egg was laid Leicester Cathedral TEN days 14 hours and 45 minutes after the first. The disruption caused by the over-staying juvenile obviously had a significant effect. KRIII Visitor Centre
