This is the next step in the soil mapping process - sampling the soil to depth (~ 1m) at preselected locations across the farm. Woodrill (And, yes, that's an old corn crib. Not used for 25+ years.)

2nd stage of a deeper dive into our #soils. With the help of Woodrill Groundworks we have targeted 1 meter probes based on EC, Topo and yield maps to truly understand our farms soil conditions and variability. This will help drive fertility and seeding decisions for years.

Fortunate timing. Sharpe Farms (michael sharpe) applies variable rate urea at stage V12 using script developed with help from Woodrill. Rain follows at night. Rate varies by SOM, accumulated rainfall, and variable-rate mono-ammonium phosphate applied earlier. Also some check plots.
