ICYMI: Yesterday I introduced legislation to end most uses of #PFAS “forever chemicals” that harm human health. H.R. 8074 establishes a 10 year phase-out, with exemptions for essential uses (like those with national security & medical uses) to do this thoughtfully & practically.

A 2019 study in Science revealed that since 1970, bird populations in the United States and Canada have declined by 29%, or ~3 billion birds, signaling a widespread ecological crisis. 'Grassland birds are especially hard hit, with a 53% reduction in population ... since 1970.”
