As many as six single use coffee cups are disposed of every second in Ireland. The only way to combat this waste is to reduce our dependency on these single use coffee cups and together with John Turner.ie and our 'deposit and return scheme' that's exactly what we plan to do! 🙏 ♻️

"Commericially compostable where accepted" ♻️ . 'Where accepted' being key to this sentence. Too many compostable cups & lids end up finding their way to either a recycling bin or into general waste. Therefore, it'll more than likely reach landfill or go to an incinerator 😒
