Been saying this for years. Goes hand in hand with the decline of state competitions, regionals, etc. and the rise of “academies”. Everything is a showcase. High school is one of the last versions of soccer in this country where TEAMS play a bunch of meaningful games.

Bummer. Mexico was clearly better. That was obvious just about the entire game. But I really did not like the tactics. Not sure it set us up best for success. This game was also a good example of how far away we are when it comes to depth.
