8 years in the games industry is still considered a short stint to some. With the experience, knowledge, and potential, still can be declined for jobs while I’m on the hunt. It’s all good. Keeping my head up. Will find what’s best for me and a given studio in due time.

So, for those who are looking to break in, my advice is to keep going! Kind of cliche and obvious, but it can be rough out there. Don’t focus on a single option. Look around for studios with values and games that inspire you. Look for places that you believe you can learn from.
