Did you know that our annual #TerryFox fundraiser is under way? The class that raises the most money will win a pizza lunch. If we can raise $1500 in donations as a school, Stephen Cahatol will sport this beautiful gown for a day. If we raise $2000, he will wear it for a week!

We’re back to school! So much has been happening as we’ve moved to grade 1. Learning routines and getting into the swing of our new classroom! Plus new friends and desks!

Making flowers and counting up the total of pattern blocks we used. How many shapes go into making 2 flowers? What about 3, 4, or 5?

We were on the hunt for living and non-living items today and found some interesting surprises.

Some lovely artistic creations are coming home today from our work with Mme. Shia. We also welcomed our AY Jackson co-op student Ms. Emily! We are so lucky to have her until January.

What does “5th” look like? The Grade 1s are showing what they know about Ordinal numbers.

All of our Grade 1 angelfish are present and accounted for! Tomorrow we vote for their names. Will we have a Freckles, Zebra, and Peachie? Or Stripey, Pineapple, and Punkie? Any suggestions?
