There are a lot of questions about the weather forecasts from yesterday. Fortunately, there was not any damage from severe weather. Severe thunderstorms are very atypical for the area and although the risk was slight, advanced notification was important due to the risk.

The heat is on next week! The first Extreme Heat Watches of the season have been issued for next Tuesday & Wednesday, but what's the difference between a Watch and a Warning? A Watch means "Be Prepared" while a Warning means "Take Action!" #orwx #wawx

🔥 Dangerous heat expected Tue–Wed, with Wed likely the hottest. 🌡️ Lows Tues night stay in the 60s–70s = little relief. 🥵 Heat risk remains high, especially for vulnerable groups. 🌬️ Dry & breezy, but fire risk remains low for now.
