A BJP-run India pointing the finger at a Nobel Laurete economist (with a PhD from Vanderbilt) and crying wolf about religious politics in Bangladesh...this would be a great satirical play if it didn't have such serious diplomatic, economic, and humanitarian consequences.

Such a mature statement 👏🏾 It's great that 🇧🇩 now has the political freedoms for debates on these issues. But it's important to keep our eyes on the ball on much more important, systemic challenges. Economic recovery. Transitional justice. Democracy & good governance. Unity!

In one week, two Bangladeshi children from our minority community - Swarna Das (14) & Jayanta Kumar Singh (15) - were shot dead by Indian border force BSF. We demand justice for both of them. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bangladesh request explanation why India kills Bangladeshi Hindu children like this.

I'm seeing a lot of racism against #Jordan from the usual suspects. I was in Qatar in 2019 for a job interview and a 🇯🇴 sister drove me to my interview when my taxi driver dropped me at the wrong place. I think of her sometimes. Jordanians are amazing and beautiful people mA 🤲🏾

Potentially tectonic political developments in #Bangladesh. A party of students, farmers, laborers and women would be a force to reckon with anywhere in the world! They will have to overcome decades of ruthless machine politics. But I finally have some hope in 🇧🇩 politics!
