Sad to hear of the passing of Jerome Barkow. The Adapted Mind (co-authored with John Tooby and Leda Cosmides) was/is a tour de force volume on evolutionary psychology. Jerry was also an exquisite writer, who knew the value of a well-crafted sentence (rare enough in academia).
