Meet Rye named after Catcher in the Rye because Sandi was his catcher. She saved him from the edge of something terrible. She found him with a shoelace embedded in his neck, likely since kittenhood. He’s now safe with Dr. Jen, healing and finally free. 💛

Rye’s neck is healing by second intention—closing naturally from the inside out. It’s itchy, a bit gooey (gross but good!), and he’s due for surgery soon for a retained testicle so Dr. Jen will reassess at that time. He’s a messy eater, always in motion, and utterly adorable. 🥰

Choux has officially gone home with Ashley, where he’ll be joining Crash’s alumni Cyndi Clawpurr (aka Sissy Sue) and Stormie. We couldn’t dream up a better trio if we tried! 🐾 Wishing Choux endless cozy naps, synchronized zoomies, and all the love a cat could ever want. 🩶
