Maybe I’m the only irrigation geek out there.. but I find it interesting how quickly our headworks reservoirs fill up each spring. Ex:St Mary reservoir; Works out to roughly 80,000ac/ft of additional stored water in the last month.

Shout out to the ag retail folks... It can be crazy stressful. The producer is zeroed in on their operation & ideally they get exactly: -what is needed -when it's needed -where it's needed But, the ag retailer has to balance dozens of producers' needs I've been there Kudos!

“Spoon feeding” nitrogen to these potato’s. Splitting up nitrogen applications through the season reduces potential nitrogen leaching as well as N0x emissions. Good for the wallet and the environment, not to mention a fun job with great company!

Ag question. What are the downsides of soil sampling just behind the combine in august vs late fall? We would not be looking at the nitrate levels. It would just be to find p,k,s and micros for 2024 crop. #agronomy #AgTwitter
