My sister’s restaurant, Crane’s FarmHouse, in Shelbyville, Missouri is opening to customers tonight by reservations only. Takeout orders are also an option. At least it’s a start in getting back to normal.

Hamburger $6/lb at grocery tonight & I’m trying to figure out how to apply for USDA’s CFAP for losses to my cattle. “Interesting times we’re living” is starting to get old.

All my life, we’ve only bought white salt blocks for cattle. Does anyone spend extra for brown/iodine blocks?

I’m calling end to #Calving18. Had 2 more calves this past week & the 2 cows that haven’t calved will visit local sale barn soon. Very thankful for not loosing any cows or calves this year. That’s not happened in owning my own herd in 10+ years. 👍💯 #EatBeef
