Jesus prayed all night before He chose the twelve from His disciples. Such a challenge for us as church leaders to spend much time in prayer before making decisions about who to add to our teams.

It’s hard to love our enemies. But that is what Jesus asks us to do. That is what He does. Luke 6 says He is kind to the ungrateful and evil. Lord help us to walk in your steps!

Whilst in prison, John the Baptist sent some friends to ask if his relative, Jesus, was the Messiah. John must have felt alone and unloved - Jesus is doing great things, what about me Lord? When it feels like you have been forgotten…don’t take offence. Jesus still loves you!

Jesus marvelled at the faith of the centurion. Luke 7:9 Lord please help us to live with that level of faith!
