I don't like to say "Happy Memorial Day", as it is not happy for the families of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. However, as you enjoy your day off, please take a moment to reflect and remember those who did give the ultimate sacrifice for our Freedoms. That's the meaning.

Our crabapple tree is in full bloom. In fact, today it is raining down flower petals all over the place. As I went to inspect it closer, I saw the opportunity of the sunflare coming through the branches. This is the final result. Serene and beautiful. ๐Ÿ“ท Beauty is all around.

The Upright Phlox has started to bloom! This is on the corner of our house. It's sentimental to us because our Basset Hound's name was Phloxie. We've planted other Phlox in our gardens in her remembrance, but this one sprouted a few years ago all by itself.
