Shout out to Joe Tobias and his colleagues for winning the Joseph Tepas Paper Competition Pediatric Trauma Soc 2021. They looked at risk stratified VTE screening in peds trauma patients. #pts21 @OHSUsurgery @OHSUTraumaCtr
Excited to share my work at North Pacific Surgical Association with V. Liana Tsikitis showing that in appropriately selected pts with malignant colorectal polyps, survival is the same with surgery or endoscopic management! Definitely need more studies on this for pts with rectal ca! @OHSUsurgery
