So great to be involved in Reece Dinsdale 👀 acting workshop in York today. So great to meet him and I learnt so much. Here's hoping I didnt embarrass myself too much!

So I was in a room full of actors today. But I wasn't there to prove I was the best. I was there to learn, to improve, to grow. The only person I am ever competing against is myself. I always strive to be better than I was before.

Creativity... Very rational people don't like the idea that great creative ideas come from the unconscious They refuse to accept it even when it happens to them And yet, when an idea comes into our mind, we have no understanding of the unconscious processes leading to this

Feeling a bit down today. I've been acting for nearly 30 years now and all I can keep thinking is am I any good, have I improved over the years? And if I am rubbish, does it really matter as long as I am enjoying myself. I'm not fishing for compliments, its just got me thinking.
