Last night, Turkish fighter jets bombed a civilian house in Gallala village in Sulaimani governorate and killed a farmer inside his home.

This footage shows the remnants of the house including a burnt Quran and villagers retrieving the body and transporting it to the hospital.

Turkish and Iranian forces attacked Iraqi Kurdistan at least 373 times from 1 January - 1 April 2024, resulting in 14 civilian casualties, eight people killed and six injured.

Today at 6:30 am, a Turkish fighter jet bombed Bariske village in Dinarte killing 2 civilians. Saeed Mubarak, 41 years old and Araz Faraj, 29 years old, were killed. Salih Mubarak was injured. All 3 were collecting wild vegetables on the mountain.

Last night at 1:35 am a Turkish fighter jet bombed the house of Ebdûlqadir Husên Tale in the village of Gellale in the Mawet district of the Sulaimaniya governorate. The house was totally demolished.

Luckily, there were no people in the house at the time of the bombardment.

CPT was informed that on Oct 25, Sleman Ahmad, a Kurdish-Syrian journalist, was arrested at Faysh Khabur border crossing while returning to Suli for work. KRG authorities should communicate the reasons of Sleman’s arrest and inform the family about the location of his detention.

Some relatives of Dilovan Ishlik told CPT that Dlovan had become engaged only nine days before he was killed in the Turkish drone attack. He was preparing himself for his wedding.

17 Oct, Dilovan Ishlik and his family were targeted by a Turkish drone strike in Koya. They were returning to the Makhmur refugee camp after visiting relatives in Ranya. Dilovan was killed in the attack w/ 3 of his family injured.
