केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल की आर्थिक मामलों की समिति ने अरुणाचल प्रदेश के शि योमी जिले में तातो-द्वितीय जलविद्युत परियोजना के निर्माण के लिए 8146.21 करोड़ रुपये के निवेश की मंजूरी दी। परियोजना पूरी होने की अनुमानित अवधि 72 महीने है। और पढ़ें:pib.gov.in/PressReleasePa… PIB India

700 मेगावॉट (4 x 175 मेगावॉट) की स्थापन क्षमता वाली यह परियोजना 2738.06 मिलियन यूनिट ऊर्जा का उत्पादन करेगी।

परियोजना से उत्पन्न बिजली अरुणाचल प्रदेश में विद्युत आपूर्ति में सुधार लाने और राष्ट्रीय ग्रिड (भारत के विभिन्न ऊर्जा संयंत्रों और उपकेन्द्रों को जोड़ने वाली उच्च वोल्टेज विद्युत शक्ति संचरण प्रणाली) के संतुलन में भी सहायक होगी।

आत्मनिर्भर भारत अभियान के उद्देश्यों और लक्ष्यों के अनुरूप यह परियोजना स्थानीय आपूर्तिकर्ताओं/उद्यमों/सूक्ष्‍म, लघु और मध्‍यम उद्यमों को प्रत्यक्ष और अप्रत्यक्ष रोज़गार के अवसर सहित कई प्रकार के लाभ प्रदान करेगी। All India Radio News DD News
