The Medical Board once again focuses its attention to protecting doctors. This bill will not protect patients. Its argument about other states doesn't hold up when you look at the stats: sandiego.edu/cppc/documents…

If you read the bill, you can see this is designed to protect doctors not patients. The Medical Board wants to be exempt from the Uniform Standards. California is home to nearly 1,000 treatment facilities that doctors can choose from at their will, currently.
