It was great to work with Stantec and @N8Decarbo on this research project exploring the role of place (how and where we build) in decarbonising transport. Clara Peiret-García @cpeiretgarcia.bsky.social's work on accessibility helped think about land-use planning to enable walking and cycling. Geospatial Systems CDT

I'm really lucky to work with such talented students in our Geospatial Systems CDT and share their knowledge with Geospatial Newcastle undergraduates. Chris has developed this amazing practical for our Stage 3 students using open data and #opensource tools. 1/2 colab.research.google.com/drive/1SE4psIt…

Fantastic news! Our first CDT student has been awarded their PhD. Huge congratulations to Dr Rachael Sanderson, we're super proud of your hard work, completing during often difficult times (trying my best not to say Covid) and looking forward to others joining you as CDT alumni soon.

Another year, another #GISRUK!! This year we presented our (cc @TrivikV Alistair Ford @rsfrankl) work on multilevel factors influencing mobility behaviours in The Netherlands. Have a look at our poster and reach out if you want to give us feedback or have a chat!
