There are time when sadly treatment doesn’t work….This is hard for everyone, and there are some TYA’s that are parents themselves. We have been providing this beautiful book and a rainbow soft toy to stay with each of them, both parent and child ❤️ #TYACancerAwarenessMonth

This may just seem like a bit of fun, which it is, but for one long term patient unable to swallow therefore eat, for weeks due to GVHD…. They savoured every moment of tasting the TimTam before spitting it out and loved it #HospitalYouthWork #TYACancerAwareness

Love to see when people make their bed spaces their own whilst an in patient. One such person spends a lot of their time farming, so it only seems only fitting to have farming related #Lego builds on the window sill!! 🚜

This was very kindly donated to us by a previous patient. It is very special in that this piece was started whilst an in patient, finished throughout treatment and recovery, and then given back to the ward when they came back to visit feeling happy and well ❤️

Today we travelled to the other side of the world to meet Young People & Staff from Canteen Australia with YP from Teenage Cancer Trust in the West Midlands
for an afternoon (or evening in their case!) of Trivia. A great example of #PeerSupport for #TYACancerAwarenessMonth 🇬🇧 🇦🇺
