Text messages from popular vendors (Netflix, Banks, Paypal, CRA) etc., asking you to click on a link because there is something wrong with your account, phone calls from FedEx, Canada Post etc., asking you to pay to release a shipment. #FraudChat

First step is to always call your local police. Then contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud centre by calling 1-888-495-8501. Report the incident to your banking institution, and notify the website where the fraud took place (if applicable) and lastly regularly monitor your credit
