Apologies for the lack of updates recently. Two league matches to catch up on.....

Last week we drew with Dormansland 2s. We were put into bat and scored 244 off 47 overs but in reply Dormansland only managed to score 97-4.

Yesterday we were at home to Brunswick Village, who after being put into bat scored an impressive 264ao with the help of two centuries.

With 265 to win Cowden were always up with the run rate and thanks to some destructive batting reached their target in just over 37 overs.

Another brilliant run chase yesterday. Set 266 to win we only lost 1 wicket. Dan Hancock with 130 and Andy Wilkes with 85no both impressing.

Cowden are promoted to Division 2! We have a 110 point lead over 3rd place with only 3 games left.

We are now Champions of Division 3! An 86 run win over Palmers Cricket Club 2s sealed the title with 2 games left.

After last weeks hard fought draw against Copthorne we are now at the final league game of the season! We play Turners Hill CC away from 1pm.

A delayed update from last week when Cowden beat Turners Hill by 4 wickets bringing an end to this years league season.

The result meant Cowden went unbeaten through the whole league season. Winning 15 and drawing 3 with a points total of 472.

Well done to all players who helped make it happen and we look forward to Division 2 next year.
