Gathering some black currants. And some blueberries now that the robins and catbirds have had their fill. Squirrels cleaned us out of hazelnuts, but I don't mind. We burn more hazel wood than we eat hazelnuts anyway.

Despite my mother's side of the family all speaking French, they did not teach us children French. So I took French in school anyway. Later, I translated a work of G.I. Gurdjieff from French into English (Meetings with Gurdjieff in Paris 1944).
