We may be coming to the end of the month, but October is Photographer Appreciation Month. "Tell them what you like, what you don't like about their photographs. That goes a long way to convince them to continue to do what they're doing." - Corky Lee

We are saddened to hear that the world has lost a documentary legend. Christine Choy was best know in the Asian American film world for her 1987 documentary “Who Killed Vincent Chin?” She will be missed 💔

Today is The Day of Remembrance for Japanese Americans. In 1942, President Franklin D. ordered the US Army to forcefully remove JA's from the West Coast. Over 95% of the Japanese population in the US was evacuated and put into internment camps located in barren areas in the US.
