Pastor Tom Ascol makes a motion that the messengers hear about how Mike Stone was slandered last year and owed an apology. The motion is going to vote to see if it will be referred or not referred.

Great to see Jon Whitehead, now a former ERLC, questioning Brent Leatherwood at the mics! Jon asks the salient question: Why does the ERLC keep supporting issues the Southern Baptists haven’t spoken to and don’t support.

Exactly. So many of us were saying this at the time. The same ones who called that right are the same ones calling for ERLC to be abolished, financial transparency, and biblically qualified men as pastors only.

Only 56% of Southern Baptists support the ERLC. Yes, the vote to abolish failed. But this is a a clear referendum on the current failed leadership. No entity can long survive this much opposition.

Happy 191st birthday to the Prince of Preachers, Charles Spurgeon. He is one of the few authors that I can recommend to every Christian, no matter age or where they are in their walk with Christ. Here are three of his works that any Christian can pick up and be immediately

Same type of antics happen at SBC annual meeting. Thankful for Timothy Brindle and his boldness and commitment to the gospel and opposition to false ideology.
