On Mon, our team started the holiday festivities early & gathered w/ community & gov partners at Haitian American Caucus-US’s Food Distribution & Resource Fair in BK. Our team connected w/ Haitian & Caribbean community members & gave info on city resources available regardless of immigration status



Was glad to join many community activists, elected officials and NYPD leaders at wonderful celebration of Ramadan by Council of Peoples Organization. TY, Mohammad Razvi & your team, for hosting this great event & inviting me!



During Ramadan, the calls to prayer are calls to embrace our shared humanity, to pursue lasting peace and justice. We thank Council of Peoples Organization for bringing us together for a beautiful #Ramadan lighting ceremony. May this time bring spiritual fulfillment and blessings to all New Yorkers.

Today COPO is hosting an Anti-Violence and Wellness Workshop! Collaborating with NYPD 70th Precinct and @breakthroughmhc, we are excited to bring in experts in the field for an afternoon of skill building and techniques to empower our community.





On Saturday, First AUSA Carolyn Pokorny attended Council of Peoples Organization’s Muslim Youth Career Fair where she encouraged all to consider careers in law enforcement – especially at EDNY!
