We've had a fantastic morning celebrating with our Year 11 students, as they collected their exam results. We're proud of each and everyone of them. Amongst lots of amazing stories were twin sisters Harleen and Hasneet who, between them, achieved 18 Grade 9s! 😀👋

The second of our two Year 8 trips to London took place yesterday. Pupils had a great time at Houses of Parliament & listened to a live debate on immigration involving two of our local MPs. A great learning moment. Thanks to Mrs Cronshaw & all staff who supported trips.

'A group of our Yr 8 students had an amazing time in London 21/06/23. They visited Churchill War Rooms, & the Houses of Parliament, where they took part in a debate. A fantastic trip from 5.30am until 11.30pm! Group 2 next week for some more 'cultural capital' in the capital 😊'

Students enjoyed a session delivered by StreetDoctors. The learning objective is
‘To empower young people through training to keep safe, save lives & be part of the solution to street violence. Eden delivered a fantastic, informative, engaging session, thank you!

Year 5/6 mixed rounders event for our primary schools.  Parkland and Princeville were both in attendance with their fabulous students and staff.  21 students took part in the event on our school field and I'm delighted to say that rain did not stop us,

Our Year 11 Basket ball team & our Year 7 football team went out on Monday to play fixtures against Co-op Academy Grange their BB team won their game 24-17 & the Year 7 footballers won 4-1.

Fairtrade Fortnight’s Bake Off! Students were invited to take part in a baking competition. Zeke (channels 4s junior bake off) was 1 of 3 judges. The Strong sisters also taste tested our bakes. Thank you to all who took part.

We had a fantastic Year 7 climbing trip to The depot 08/03/2023 Lots of resilience and determination shown and super progress from the start to the end of the session. #itswhatwedo

We were delighted to welcome the 3 daughters of Brian Strong to the academy yesterday; the 1st Headteacher of Priesthorpe. The family gifted us significant funds to help us build our Restorative Hub. We are proud to hold the baton Brian began carrying over 50 years ago 😊

Standing Room only at our Year 9 Options Evening tonight. Great to see so many parents and carers in person to talk through the exciting choices our students will be making over the coming weeks 😊

We were delighted to welcome over 20 businesses, public sector organisations, charities, and FE/HE institutions to our Annual Careers Fair. All students had the chance to meet with and discuss opportunities open to them at 16 or 18, when they begin their next exciting journey.
