Our Research Centre in Cairo Research Centre in Cairo PCMA UW hosts a workshop “Monitoring Archaeological Sites in Sudan Using Satellite Imagery” Led by🔸Mariusz Drzewiecki🔸, it trains Sudanese heritage specialists & archaeologists in using satellite imagery, GIS, & AI for site monitoring.
The Atbai Survey Project presented the results of our archaeological remote sensing campaign at the event “Monitoring Archaeological Sites in Sudan Using Satellite Imagery” Cairo - thanks to the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology UW Mariusz Drzewiecki for organizing a fantastic event - and all in attendance.
