@coralsaintclair It was never even a consideration as I was trying to treat my depression all those years that i didnt need another pill (antidepressant) but i needed to be off the birth control. 🤯

just a mama followin Jesus I remember being prescribed birth control to help with my crippling periods. Two months in, I couldn’t stop crying, everything was gloomy. I got off just to see what would happen and the sadness went away. Haven’t gone back on since

just a mama followin Jesus Same. Also think it induced PCOS in me hence it taking many years to conceive. I mean, you are tricking your body into not ovulating and I was on that crap for years. And then we are told you can just go off when ready for a family, and everything will resume normally? Right…

Jinger Duggar's recent book has a lot of people associating opposition to contraception solely with Bill Gothard, when in fact — as D.E. mentions — opposition to contraception did not begin with him, rather it has been a strongly held belief for thousands of years in Christendom

Disappointing speech by Nikki Haley today. Leads with compromise & defeatism, not vision & courage. Plus, calls for more contraception, which does *not* decrease abortion & in fact, creates a culture where abortion is the back-up plan. Not what pro-life voters are looking for.

50% of women who get abortions were using contraception. Contraception is not the solution people make it out to be: instead it reinforces the lie that sex and pregnancy are not intricately related, and that fertility is a disease to be treated. guttmacher.org/news-release/2…

The pro-abortion Kaiser Family Foundation recently published survey results on the changed usage of contraception after the overturn of Roe v. Wade. The results indicate that, for at least some, abortion was a form of backup "birth control." Killing a human being isn't "birth

Women on Twitter have been discussing negative impacts birth control has made on their bodies. Birth control doesn’t heal the root of women’s health issues — so it’s unsurprising when preexisting health problems return after being temporarily masked by hormonal contraception. 💔

The birth control pill doesn't treat or heal issues like PCOS, endometriosis, etc. It just covers up the symptoms temporarily by suppressing your natural hormones (and thus your natural menstrual cycle) and pumping your body full of synthetic pseudo hormones.
