I'm just baffled by so much mainstream political, strategic and economic thinking, which totally excludes the climate and ecological crisis, as if it's trivial. The reality is it is going to change everything. Change is coming, whether you like it or not. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

👏 And that’s a wrap! 👏A huge thank you to all our EDRC members for the insightful presentations and discussions! We’re excited for what’s ahead in our second year! 💚 University of Sussex University of Sussex Business School #EDRCWCM

That's me talking about our take on new government priorities rather than Mehmet Nuri Uçar!

This is absolute madness. Carbon capture and storage has failed time and again. Labour has slashed reliable green programmes, to pour vast sums of our money into a complete crock. The only possible explanation is lobbying by fossil fuel companies.🧵 theguardian.com/environment/20…

I question CrossCountry Trains logic of having a 4 car service on a day when the York Races are on. This is the 12.08 from Leeds to Edinburgh.

We must do more to make walking a mile & cycling longer 'short trips' the 1st choice. Provide safe, pleasant space (+ cycle secure parking). Huge co-benefits - safer roads, independent children's mobility, improved health, less air pollution & co2e emissions. IanPhilips
