The 3rd day of our #exavation Crowcombe Court for Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme and a great day of digging. More occupation evidence including copious amounts of window glass and lead work, a 13th century Ham Green jug handle, a stone door jamb, and, of course, a brick-vaulted #victorian drain.
It’s family weekend at the Crowcombe Court excavation for Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme and here we are busy excavating a lovely #Victorian plate, and all before lunch!
Archaeologists have been trying to find a medieval manor at Crowcombe Court. Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme and Context One Heritage & Archaeology have been working with dozens of volunteers on the dig.
