How is Toffoli worth that much in trade?

I don't care what teams are involved, the NHL should not have any games that can impact the playoffs played outdoors. Games that count in the strandings should be played in the same conditions for all teams.

I might be in the minority here, but I hate 3 on 3 OT in the NHL.

Does anyone know the rules around future considerations in an NHL trade? Is there a timeline on when compensation must be finalized? Could the Leafs have just treated for Matt Murray & 2 picks for Air Miles that might go unclaimed?

Considering the goalie market, I like what the Leafs did. Younger, less term, gave up no significant assets.

I understand why pro sports teams have alternate uniforms, but I really can't stand seeing the Blue Jays in red. I miss the days of one uniform for home and one for the road.

I get the symbolism of giving Monoah the game 1 start, but in a best of 3 series I would start him in game 2 to close it out, or keep the team alive.

Why are the 2 NFL teams allowed to be marketed as NY based when they both play in NJ?

MLB/PA should consider a 145 schedule. 5 games against every other team each yr and rotating which team gets the extra home game each yr.

I don't like hearing the #nhl should expand playoffs because the same number of teams get in now as when there were 21 teams. 16 was too many back then. The regular season should eliminate AT LEAST 50% of teams from the playoffs.

I don't understand the reasoning behind the Jay's keeping Kirk over Moreno. Their difference in foot speed alone may cost the Blue Jays at some point.
