Great to write for Whole Nation Conservatives this week about how we must stop creating political sacred cows if we are to deliver for the British people & keep on delivering. Whether it be the NHS, the Triple Lock, the ECHR or the Greenbelt, we cannot continue shutting down debate.

This is a superb contribution from Igraine Gray. In the face of enormous fiscal and social challenges it is time to question whether the sacred cows of UK politics are really delivering the best outcomes

Excl: Labour YIMBYs criticised now-housing minister Matthew Pennycook for siding with NIMBYs and "resorting to misinformed derision" in a private dossier ahead of the election. Warned he was "at odds" with party leadership on backing builders not blockers. express.co.uk/news/politics/โ€ฆ

It is FANTASTIC to see Kemi Badenoch leading from the front in making the case to build the homes we need. Conservatives are the party of opportunity and we are going to deliver for the next generation. Onward and Conservative YIMBY ๐Ÿงข are going to do all we can to help.

Iโ€™m not anti-Labour Party . Iโ€™m pro business, pro entrepreneurship, pro growth - and pro the UK. Iโ€™ve voted Labour in the past, but this current mob are utterly clueless. The business community has lost faith and no longer trust them.

Labour YIMBY had an opportunity to retain some dignity here and call out their NIMBY Housing Minister. They bottled it ๐Ÿ‘‡

What exactly are you proud of Labour YIMBY? The fact he won't bring himself to identify as a YIMBY like his own Prime Minister? Or perhaps his Natural England Veto?

The tide is turning. As James Cleverly๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง rightly points out: building homes is a fundamentally Conservative idea. We don't fix the housing crisis by blocking - we fix it by building.

Simon Dudley (@mrsimondudley) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Bob is a backbencher with no influence over Conservative policy. Your own housing minister - the one you've just publicly supported in this morning's Express - has just handed Natural England a Veto - which will end up blocking quite a bit more than 3300 homes!

Earlier today, Conservative YIMBY ๐Ÿงข had lunch with the Chair of a FTSE 100 UK Housebuilder. Safe to say he was *very* happy that James Cleverly๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง is now our Shadow Housing Secretary. "He just gets it."

Excellent Liam Halliganโฉ article on our perilous debt situation and housing. Liam now sees what is visible to us all. Both illegal but critically legal net migration is turbocharging the housing crisis. We need to slash both and #BuildBabyBuild ๐Ÿ‘‡ telegraph.co.uk/business/2025/โ€ฆ

Superb article from Liam Halligan covering the perilous state of ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง finances in detail, as well as rightly highlighting the need to tackle both immigration levels and housebuilding rates to ensure everyone has a good place to call home ๐Ÿก

Looking forward to campaigning fiercely with Louise for next Mayโ€™s election. Having known her since day one of my Conservatives days (2017!), I know she will run a great campaign and be an excellent Mayor. Her pro-growth, pro-aspiration message is exactly what we need too.
