We are going to be bringing in smart contract gameplay and Stake to Earn mechanics from Day 1, that we will develop and grow as we move into stages 2 & 3. This added complexity means that rather than just releasing an NFT collection, (4/11)

now we need a decentralised app interface with inventory function, wallet, reporting, staking and other functions too...and all of that takes time to get right. We are also working on some other DeFi related mechanics too, (5/11)

such as locking our new ERC-20 utility token in exchange for a locked governance token and enhanced rewards that locking can generate...more complexity again, but we are really excited to build in the DeFi / strategy elements to the collection. (6/11)
