Exciting day on the University of Newcastle Wild #Nepal New Colombo Plan trip where we learned how the local community has worked so successfully to conserve #vultures after the diclofenac devastation. Saw 7 species!

40 km of trekking through high altitudes in the Annapurna region has left sore muscles & amazing memories, with unforgettable learning experiences of the community conservation initiatives conducted by the New type No concept team. The @uni_newcastle team was supported by the New Colombo Plan.



Litoria littlejohni is #Endangered & Conservation Science Research Group recently got the chance to apply some of our research knowledge to help improve its plight by creating artificial ponds to increase habitat and restore connectivity. Within 3 months, the ponds had LLJ in them University of Newcastle
