So I have a question for #cf97: In the buildup to Pineda’s goal, Guti puts that ball in a great shooting position. My question is, was it intended for Pineda? Or was it just behind its intended target? Just trying to make sure I get my facts straight.

Also, Happy Father’s Day to all you dads and daddies out there today 🫡 as Steve Harvey once said, “Any man can be a father, it takes a special man to be a Dad!” #FathersDay

If Colombia don’t go on to win this tournament, I will be nothing short of shocked. They may not be “stacked” like Argentina or Brazil, but this team plays for one another and they are CLINICAL on the offensive side. Easily one of my favorite teams to watch outside of the US.

As much as I may dislike Lalas’ takes sometimes, he’s absolutely right on the money with this one. We were dogshit tonight, and we paid the price. Fire Berhalter. Start fresh and get ready for ‘26. But then again, U.S. Soccer, you’re not ready for that convo, are ya? FOH.

Little background on the kid who put #cf97 in the ground tonight: he is Diego Maradona’s great-nephew. How he signed with SJ without me noticing is beyond me. I want to hope there’s a plan to bring in some reinforcements this summer, but…it’s Heitz and Pelzer. Hope has gone.

Okay, I get it, everybody is hyped af that Yamal has (apparently) grabbed Messi’s mantle….but let’s not forget that overhyping young players can ruin their careers. I’m not saying don’t believe in the kid, but he has a long road ahead before he’s truly great. Let him enjoy it.

My two cents: Cherundolo- No. Pep- no way in hell he comes here Klopp- give him a rest, he’s done enough Marsch- ….he’s in a semifinal. I think he’ll say no. Pellegrino- I wouldn’t say no 🤷🏼‍♂️ Poch- love him, but no. Renard- Sure, why not? Tuchel- Ehhh no. Wagner- Sure!

I see a lot of people lambasting Darwin for his actions after the game last night, saying “he shouldn’t have gotten involved”, “he escalated the issue”,… Listen, as a husband and a dad, I get his actions; those people tried to hurt his family. Fuck around and find out. Period.

If I thought I was scared of the Spanish senior team, then I know for a damn FACT that I am terrified of their U23s. #OlympicGames #Gold

Said it in a group chat and I’ll say it again here: it’s time to give him the 10 shirt. That way we see what he’s really made of 🙏 VAMOS FIRE!!! #cf97

All of these stats aside (all of which are still amazing), this Velez team play great attacking football and are a great example of what happens when you mix great established players and young guns. Glad to see el Fortin back in action 🙏🙏

I mean this in the nicest possible way…..but genuinely, WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS???? I may yell at my TV a lot at the overpaid men who kick balls, but they’re still human beings, and this is wrong on a lot of levels. Congestion or not, the players have to be considered in this.
