The Science Guy: “I first heard about Abigail Spanberger after she famously explained to some Democratic Party operatives that they have to stop saying odd, strange, weird things like ‘Defund the Police.’”

Largest applause of the night so far comes when Pete Buttigieg calls out Winsome Earle-Sears for previously saying she’s okay with employers firing people for being gay.

Spanberger has taken the stage, begins by talking about working with Buttigieg on the infrastructure bill. A UVA alum, she also hits the crowd with a Wahoowa.
