Marking 50 years of listing buildings in Northern Ireland at the 500th Historic Buildings Council meeting today at Parliament Buildings. From these grand buildings to the humble cottage it highlights the privilege we have in being custodians of these places that shape our lives.

Great to get my hands on the latest HBC Report. A privilege to sit with my colleagues on the council; their skills, knowledge & passion is rigorous ever enhancing the listing process of buildings in NI. Well done to all involved in producing it Communities NI loveheritageNI 👏

Today a key heritage-led regeneration project to provide student accommodation within the Walled City was opened 🏠 Led by Inner City Trust and supported by UU & The Architectural Heritage Fund it involved the restoration of 3 vacant heritage listed buildings #WeAreUU | #HeritageDevelopmentTrusts
