The Tilikum Crossing bridge in Portland is a nexus of multimodal transportation — carrying buses, streetcars, cyclists & pedestrians. A similar bridge across the Missouri River would add a vital link to Council Bluffs in the Greater Omaha urban core: omahachamber.org/urban-core/

Buffered bike lanes in downtown Omaha recently got a fresh coat of paint, including one on 17th Street and one on 14th Street, which has moved from the west side of the road to the east. Buffered sections next to the road provide extra space between people on bikes and traffic.
