#connectingwithconnaught Day 89- squares, squares everywhere! Div. 3 was engaged in their numeracy work as teams today, focusing on building squares- using their problem solving skills and communication was extra important! Open ended numeracy is the best.

#connectingwithconnaught Day 90- our first ever school wide community walk was a huge success! This week our intention was to be careful observers & find interesting shapes in nature. We love learning outside and connecting as a community! @newwestschools

#connectingwithconnaught Day 91- our Climate Action Heroes are using their lunch and recess breaks to learn how to weave, with reused yarn. The beautiful bookmarks, bracelets & other items will be for sale at our eco fair- supporting nature focused charities. Will you be there?

#connectingwithconnaught Day 94- Div. 1 took their science outside today to experiment with load, surface, force and motion. Where do you think the cart moved more easily, in the gym or outside?

#connectingwithconnaught Day 95- our Teacher Coach led us in exploring non-standard measurement in the bright sunshine, using materials we can find outside.

#connectingwithconnaught Day 96- it was a musical afternoon at Connaught! A big thank you to Kenneth Headley (He/Him/Black) for teaching us about the steel pan, playing for us, leading a dance party and bringing so much joy to our community today! #BlackHistoryMonth @newwestschools

#connectingwithconnaught Day 99- we are getting ready for Pink Shirt Day by engaging in Random Acts of Kindness Week. From hiding kind notes to a food drive planned by our kindergarten students, kindness is the focus this week and all weeks at Connaught!

#connectingwithconnaught Day 100- We did it! 100 days highlighting all the special things that happen at our special, little school! We are so proud of all the community, creativity, learning and joy that happen at Connaught everyday!
