As I have come to witness how Christ is compensating my daily journey, I can better and more personally feel His love. He is now my friend. We can show gratitude for Christ; not only for what He has done, but for what He is currently doing.

The Atonement of Jesus Christ is discussed in a multitude of ways in scripture: it is a cleansing, sanctifying, and healing act of His selfless love. But we rarely discuss the atonement in terms of its ability to rights the wrong of life - this is Christ's compensating power.

Your efforts are sufficient because Christ's grace is sufficient (2 Corith 12:9). His grace makes your efforts enough!
